Community & Cultural Centre

 

The existing building will see large public halls, conference and seminar rooms which will be capable of holding a wide range of functions, exhibitions, meetings, conventions and wedding receptions [over 4 floors] together with a modern, contemporary extension housing a café and equipped kitchen. [If want to - include the building will be constructed to modern standards].

 

Although the building has suffered extensive damage from two fires, remnants of the grand entrance hall and stairs remain. These remaining features will be incorporated within the new center to give a unique combination of traditional and modern in a truly amazing setting. This center will provide ongoing financial support to the Masjid but more importantly will provide a place for Muslims and Non Muslims to meet foster a greater understanding between ideology, faith and humanity.
